Obituary of Ruth Williams

Ruth Williams, age 83 of Gallatin, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 31st at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Robby Kirkham officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, January 31st from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens.  Honoring her are pallbearers Luke Cassidy, Drew Cassidy, Chris Cassidy, Aric Cassidy, Michael Neal Foster, and Samuel Foster.

Mrs. Williams was born February 1, 1935 in Sumner County to the late Walter Andrew Carver and Margaret Jane McMurtry Carver.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Edward E. Williams; son, Kellie Ray Williams; brother, Charles Andrew Carver; sister, Christine McCullough; and grandchild, Melissa Williams.  She is survived by daughter, Edith Jane Cassidy (Larry) of Dora, AL; brother, James Kellie Carver (Linda) of Gallatin; sister, Mary Ann Graham of Gallatin; 5 grandchildren, Anglea Renee James, Luke Cassidy (Ashlie), Drew Cassidy, Chris Cassidy (Jennifer), and Aric Cassidy (Jamie); 6 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
