Obituary of Nova Grace Thompson

Nova Grace Thompson was born January 24^th, 2018 in St. Petersburg, Florida to Troy Dwayne and Praskovya Elizabeth Thompson. She passed from this life on April 1^st, 2019 at 14 months old. Nova was a heart warrior and had a condition called Complete Heart Block “CHD”. Despite her condition, she was a bright, shining star. Her favorite colors were green, orange, purple, and pink. She adored animals, her “Jeffery”, her Mommy and Daddy, and all of her family. Nova had a sweet spirit and loved to laugh, smile, and wave to everyone.

            The Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 10^th, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home in Mt. Juliet. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 9^th from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 10^th from 4:00 p.m. until service time at 5:00 p.m.

            In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by grandparents, Harry and Karen Brown, Brian and Lori Pascoe, and Terry Thompson; great – grandparents, Linda and Dave Hobson, Erna Nitsch, Carolyn and Randy Johns, Annette (Mudder) and Carl (Poppy) Nixon; 6 cousins, 5 aunts, 6 uncles, and numerous great  aunts and great uncles. She was preceded in death by great – grandparents, Milton Nitsch and Cecil Brooks Brown.

            The family requests for visitors to wear something colorful in honor of Nova. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any heart association, zoo, aquarium, or an animal shelter of your choice in her name.
