Obituary of Jimmy Ray Reynolds

Jimmy Reynolds passed away on July 5, 2019 at age 77.  The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service.  The Funeral Service, conducted by Reverend Paul Hancock, is 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, followed by interment in Wilson County Memorial.  Pallbearers:  Robert Haynes, Wesley Strain, Dan Crook, and Sean Haynes.

               Mr. Reynolds worked as a machinist at Textron until his retirement after 35 years.  He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and fishing.  Mr. Reynolds was an elder, deacon, and Sunday School teacher at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth Bentley Reynolds; children: Angela (Dan) Crook, Karen (Robert) Haynes, and Jason Reynolds; grandchildren: Kayla, Christopher, and Joshua Crook, Sean Haynes, Kassie (Wesley) Strain, and Jessica and Taylor Reynolds.; great-grandchildren: Rylee Strain, and Sophia and Hayden Caraway.  He is preceded in death by parents James and Ruby Dedman Reynolds.
