Obituary of David Dundas Miller

David Dundas Miller, age 80, of Gallatin, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 5th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Brian Johnson officiating.  Visitation will be Monday, November 4th from 2:00 – 6:50 p.m.at Family Heritage Funeral Home, with a Catholic Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, officiated by Father Andrew Forsythe, and visitation on Tuesday, November 5th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Miller was born October 30, 1939 in Edgware, Middlesex, England to the late David Dundas Miller and Catherine Sharkey Miller.  He is survived by wife of 40 years, Lilah Miller of Gallatin; son, Steve Miller of Conroe, TX; daughter, Allison Miller of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; sister, Norma Guy of Sebastian, FL.; and a very large extended family, who loved him dearly and will miss him deeply.  Mr. Miller retired from Nashville Memorial Hospital after many years of service.  He volunteered at the Nashville Metropolitan Airport and Tennessee Central Railway Museum.  David enjoyed playing harmonica with friends and family.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
