Obituary of Betty Christine Gregory

Mrs. Betty Christine Gregory, age 76 of Hartsville, TN died Tuesday evening, December 4, 2012 at Hendersonville Medical Center, Hendersonville, TN. Mrs. Gregory was married to J.B. Gregory Jr. April 1954, first woman Trustee serving Trousdale County for 26 years and a member for many years of the Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by: Parents, Willie & Georgia Reed; Husband, Johnson Brooks “J.B.” Gregory Jr.; Twin Sister & 2 Sisters, Nanna Ligon Reed & Willie Dee Reed. Survived by: Son, Mr. Timothy D. Gregory-Old Hickory, TN; Granddaughter, Miss Page Gregory & 2 Sisters, Mrs. Wilma Fisher-Hendersonville, TN & Mrs. Wanda (William) Redding-Springfield, TN. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 1 PM Friday, December 7, 2012 conducted by Bro. Johnny Carver and Bro. Albert Strawther. Honorary pallbearers: Grady E. Hughes, Vic Donoho & Trousdale County Courthouse Friends. Active pallbearers: Darrell Carman, Jerry Helm, Pat Kelley, Don Flemming, Michael Cothron, David Ray & Jimi Cox. Interment will be in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3 to 9 PM Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 and 10 AM until service time Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and to the American Diabetes Association.
