Obituary of Gladys Wilson Towns

Mrs. Gladys Wilson Towns, age 94 of the Cato Community of Dixon Springs, TN died Sunday morning, May 19, 2013 at Hartsville Convalescent Center. Preceded in death by: Husband, Sam Towns, Son, Sam “Frosty” Towns Jr., Great Grandson, Freddy Mays, Sister, Lois Massey and Brother, Robert Lester Gregory. Survived by: Son, Mr. Kent Towns-Dixon Springs, TN, Daughter, Miss. Rebecca “Betsy” Towns-Dixon Springs, TN, 2 Grandchildren, Brian Keith Towns & Sherri Lynn Plummer, 2 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild and Sister, Mrs. Laurine (Joe) Beasley-Donelson, TN. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 2 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2013 conducted by Bro. Darryl Turner and Bro. Dean Taylor. Interment will be in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday and 10 AM until service time Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dixon Creek Missionary Baptist Church or to the Charity of your choice.
