Obituary of Bro. Jon Douglas Crump, Sr.

Bro. Jon Douglas Crump, Sr., age 81 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at New Hope Church of Christ, 2600 New Hope Road, Hendersonville, TN 37075, on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be Saturday, February 1st from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Bro. Crump was born March 7, 1938 in Davidson County to the late Ben Hooper Crump and Josephine Geer Crump. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Deanna Wyers, Judy Ross, and Bertie West. He is survived by wife of 57 years, Patricia Rains Crump of Gallatin; son Jon Douglas Crump, Jr. (Tracey) of Florence, AL; daughter, Jacqueline Sikes of Gallatin; 5 grandchildren, Emily Crump, Alex Crump, Alisha Ovalle, Jordain Nix (Steven), and Morgan Crump; and 3 great grandchildren, Kingston Ware, Bella Nix, and Amelia Ovalle. Bro. Crump served our country in the United States Air Force. He retired after being a minister for many years. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
