Obituary of Imogene Hembree

Imogene Hembree, age 76 of Gallatin, formerly of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 27th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Corbin officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, June 27th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Imogene Hembree to First Baptist Church Gallatin, P.O. Box 369, Gallatin, TN 37066. Mrs. Hembree was born April 29, 1944 in Macon County, TN to the late William Fred Gregory and Flossy Irene Maynard Gregory. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Tracey Deann Gross; and brother, Ed Gregory. She is survived by her husband, John Hembree of Gallatin; sons, Dwayne Gross (Jan) of Gallatin, John C. Hembree, Jr. of Clarksville, IN, and Joseph Alan Hembree (Chelsie) of Louisville, KY; sister, Louise Canter of Gallatin; 5 grandchildren, Dylan Gross, Peightyn Gross, Chance Gross (Brianna), Austin Gregory Gross, and Madison Hembree; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Tracey Deann Gross and Briley Gross. Mrs. Hembree graduated from Hendersonville High School and is a member of First Baptist Church Gallatin. She was Vice President of Spectrum Sales for 3 years and retired from Gary Manufacturing after over 15 years of service. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
