Obituary of Billy Wayne Downs
Billy Wayne Downs, age 63 of Hermitage, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. Mr. Downs was born October 15, 1956 in Gallatin to the late Billy Joe Downs and Navada Tucker Downs. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Dixon Downs; and brother, Terry Downs. He is survived by his sons, Matthew Downs (Iva) of Hermitage, Michael Downs of Hermitage, and John Downs (Jackie) of Richmond, VA; sister, Brenda Draper of Portland; and 1 grandchild, Brigid Downs. Mr. Billy Wayne Downs retired from Gallatin Public Utilities in the Gas Department after many years of service. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
