Obituary of Douglas McArthur Mungle

Mr. Douglas McArthur Mungle, age 69 of Dixon Springs, TN passed away Thursday evening, August 27, 2020 at his home. Preceded in death by: Parents, James “Buck” & Novella Mungle; Wife, Ann Mungle; 2 Brothers, Jimmy & Harry Mungle and 3 Sisters, Sue McCloud, Faye Mungle and Brenda Hauskins. Survived by: Son, Michael Mungle; 2 Daughters, Shannon (Kelly) Whitley & Denise (Harley) Timbs; 6 Grandchildren, Michelle Hendrix, Michael Hendrix, Carson Mungle, Garrett (Shiphrah) Cato, Morgan Davis and Hailey (Chase) Robertson; 4 Great Grandchildren, Jase Davis, Willow Cato, Anna Beth Davis & Thomas Maui and 3 Brothers, Joe (Patricia) Mungle, Donald Mungle & William Mungle. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 1 PM Sunday, August 30, 2020 conducted by Bro. Kenneth Swaffer. Interment will be in the Friendship Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 PM Saturday and 11 AM until service time Sunday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sherry’s Run.
