Obituary of Sherry Lynn Carter

Sherry Lynn Carter, age 63 of Springfield passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 24th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, February 24th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Family Heritage Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses. Mrs. Carter was born June 3, 1957 in Gallatin. She is preceded in death by son, Robert Gregory; and daughter, Angie Arlene Gregory. She is survived by husband, Edwin Lee Carter of Springfield; mother, Sylvia Ann Smith Graves of Castalian Springs; children, Glenn Gregory of Springfield, Amy Gregory of Springfield, and Edwin Lee Carter, Jr. of Springfield; brother, Timmy Graves of Castalian Springs; sister, Donna Clark (Clay) of Castalian Springs; 9 grandchildren, Chrystal Gregory, Dewey Gregory, Stedson Gregory, Tabitha Gregory, Rhonda Gregory, Sierra Gregory, Jassie Gregory, Chelsea Carter, and Edwin Carter III; and 14 great grandchildren.
