Obituary of William Douglas Hawkins

Mr. William Douglas Hawkins, age 70, of Hendersonville and formerly Macon County, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral arrangements for Mr. William Douglas Hawkins will be conducted on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 2 PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder G.W. Knight officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Macon County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 4 PM until 8 PM, and on Friday, from 10 AM until service time at 2 PM. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Local VFW or the Nashville Rescue Mission. William Douglas Hawkins was preceded in death by his parents, William F. Hawkins, Jr., and Lorell Bowman Hawkins Eden.
