Obituary of Ruth Ann Browner

Ruth Ann Browner, age 66 of Portland, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022.  Graveside Service will be Tuesday, March 8^th at 11:00 a.m. at Old Brush Cemetery, with Bro. Nick Baskerville officiating and Kaleb Woods, Noah Woods, Zach Bingaman, Tommy Thompson, Mark Short, and Rocky Baskerville serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Sunday, March 6^th at Family Heritage Funeral Home from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and Monday, March 7^th from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  Please meet at the cemetery Tuesday, March 8th for the  11:00 a.m. graveside service.  

Mrs. Browner was born May 24, 1955 in Gallatin to the late G. V. Scruggs and Rosie Key Scruggs.  She is survived by husband of 49 years, Robert Browner of Portland; daughter, Kristie Browner Woods of Portland; brother, Henry Scruggs of Gallatin and Leroy Scruggs (Betty) of Gallatin; sister, Rose Woodard of Gallatin; and 4 grandchildren, Kaleb Woods, Noah Woods, KeyleeAnn Woods, and Kallee Woods.  Mrs. Browner attended Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a volunteer at Clyde Riggs Elementary School.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
