Obituary of Katie Earleen Rhodes

Katie E. Rhodes passed away on May 30, 2022, at the age of 90. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon, TN Wednesday, June 8, 2022, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Inurnment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Lebanon, TN.

Katie E. Rhodes was born in Parsons, TN to William A. & Lavada Lovvo. She worked for the mayor's office in the city of Lincoln Park, Michigan, as well as, Uniroyal Tire. Katie also worked for TRW in Lebanon, TN.

More importantly, she was an accomplished artist, gardener, seamstress and a skilled chef of international cuisine. She was a spiritual person, whose faith was very important to her.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Cruz, Marcelle (Thomas) Webster, Karen Rhodes, and Rita Rhodes, 14 grandchildren, and numerous great & great great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry T. Rhodes, grandson Evan Pyle, granddaughter Lisa Neal, parents William A. & Lavada Lovvo, sister Geraldine Charvis, brother Warren Goodman.
