I have nothing but wonderful memories of my grandmother. I lived with her for about a year . She was the best cook. I loved her veggie dip and her Christmas candy. She helped me paint the state flower. She was an amazing artist. We watched Golden Girls and Andy Griffith together frequently. I would go with her to run errands as a kid. We went to church every Sunday and Wednesday. She certainly loved Jesus. I miss the strawberry frozen yogurt she always had and freedent gum. I miss the peppermint candy she made me every Christmas and the birthday dinner of my choice every year. I was very close with my granny as a child. As the years went on everytime she saw me her eyes would light up. I adored my granny. I still have every card she's ever given me, that I will cherish. She was so funny and sassy and spiritual. I am so blessed to have gotten to see her and spend time with her the week before she passed. As I held her hand and tears streamed down my face I knew it would be the last time I'd see her. We reminisced about the good times. As I kissed her sweet face and she smiled I knew she was ready for her forever home. Now she is at peace, with her maker and my grandpa. I love you granny!
