Terry was truly a unique and talented person. We will miss him dearly. He was instrumental in getting me my first professional job in television at WTVF, a great roommate, and friend. The world lost a good one.

Terry was one of those rare people who loved life and wasn't happy unless he was laughing and spreading the humor to others. He has left the world with many unforgettable stories and memories. Rest in peace, Terry, and keep 'em laughing!

Terry was one of THE best Video Editors of the 1980's and represented CMX Edit Systems at the broadcast tradeshow each year in Las Vegas. I also worked several years with Terry at WTVF-TV (WLAC for you old timers)and he wasfunny and a good worker too.

To say that Terry was a ray of sunshine would be an understatement. He lit up the lives of the people around him with his cheerful, energetic disposition, ever-present humor and infectious laughter. He was a good man and we will miss him.

Terry was in my class the first year that I taught at Lebanon High School--in fact my first year as a teacher. He was and has always been one of my favorites--from 40 years ago. Therefore, you can see that he made quite an impression on my first year as a teacher. I was very sad to read his obituary in today's paper. God be with you.

Working at Scene Three was my break into film and video production. As reception during the wiring and expansion of the company, I saw everything ... and was mesmerized by Terry's speed at editing ... and his eternal smiles. We just reconnected through Facebook, and I was so looking forward to renewing a professional relationship. How sad, I feel robbed. I pray his soul is at rest in the arms of Jesus, and if so, I'll see him again in the Spirit one day.

I met Terry as a young teenager. He was a very close friend of my parents Frank and Mary Forgette. He brought so much laughter into our home. We just all loved him dearly. We'll never forget him. He came to my mother's funeral in 2006 and my dad's this November. He was a treasure!

David and family: Terry was a part of our lives for forty years. We met at college, his beloved Western Kentucky University and remained classmates, co-workers and most of all, dear friends for the rest of his life. You could never be around Terry, but what he put a smile your face. We will remember him as a special 'forever' friend...a friend that you make during your youth that remains in your hearts and memories for the rest of your life. We were both shocked and saddened by his passing, and will find a time in the new year to gather with friends to celebrate the life of our dear friend...Terry 'Clem' Climer. He and his wit, humor and immense love of music and television will be missed. There is never a conversation about music, musicians, bands, or television trivia that doesn't include a memory or anecdote about Terry. You and his best four-legged friend Casey will miss him, but know that he touched a lot of people and had many friends that will miss him as well. Rest in peace...a dear and 'forever friend'....

I was truly saddened to hear of Terry's passing. He and I were ham radio friends during our teenage years. He operated from the Civil Defense station in Lebanon, and was one of the principal organizers of the Tennessee Teenage Net during the late 60's. All a precursor to the career he loved in the media. He had a great sense of humor and wit, and a great sense of adventure. Will never forget our trip out West in his 280Z in '77 when gas was a shocking 57c a gallon.

Sadly, I just found out about Terry's passing. I was in Communications with Terry in '73 and '74. He left a big impression on me that I never forgot. He amazed me with his talent at editing. He took to it so fast that he became a go to guy even for the professors. He was so fast and accurate. His sense of humor was so contagious. Just a great guy to know. I was fortunate enough to make contact with him on Facebook in the last couple years. Rest in peace Terry.

Just learned of Terry's passing. What a loss. Terry and I worked together as editors in Hollywood at Pacific Video. Back in the day, he was one of the fastest around, was very knowledgeable, and always up for the challenge of learning a new piece of gear. He had a good sense of humor, with a joke for just about any situation. We had a lot of good times, both at work and on our off time with a small group of co-workers where, more often than not, he would be the life of the party. He really enjoyed making people laugh. I remember how he would play one-liners from Blazing Saddles over the paging system at work, causing all within earshot to laugh. This went on for months. I also remember one time when we all took the train to San Juan Capistrano for dinner, and on the way back, Terry held the entire train car captive with a stand-up comedy routine. Lots of laughs that night. When he moved back to Tennessee, we stayed in touch for a good while, and I even visited him a couple of times, but lost track of him until last year, when he contacted me. I really wanted to sit down with him sometime and catch up. Too late now for that. Rest in peace Terry.
