Words can not express how sad we are to know that Jim is no longer with us. We will miss him dearly. Even though we only knew him and Marge since they moved to Tn, we feel like they were special people who we could love forever! We loved Jim from the first phone call he made to us in search of blinds for his new home in Del Webb. Jim was a special man who just touched ours hearts! Marge, we will always be here for you, if you need a friend or someone to just visit with, we will be there! Love to the DeMain family. Know that we feel your loss and we will keep you all in prayers and love! RIP our friend! Heaven received a great man! Love always Randy and Karen McCool

Mrs. DeMain, Jim and Bill,
I am in Mendham looking at the paper - I'm so sad to hear of Mr. Demain's passing. I have so many warm memories of the years when the distance between your house and mine was just a coasting bike ride, down the hill. We did that trip countless times. While Jim was my dearest friend, I also felt loved by Jim senior because he was full of life, humor and heart. He was an amazing task master - time to paint the house again 'Chief' - but there were great rewards too. I would say that his high standards and great expectations added fuel to the creativity that was nurtured there. You are all in my thoughts. I loved your Dad Jim. Mrs. DeMain - my thoughts are with you. I have never forgotten the generous warmth I experienced in your home, and I feel so blessed to have had you all in my life. May Jim Senior's life be celebrated for the beauty he brought to the world - especially through Jim and Bill. You all have my warmest wishes as you say goodbye to him. With love, El

Jim was so kind to spend time to visit with my husband, Paul, while he was recovering from surgery. He made both of us smile and laugh with his stories.
I will always remember him as such a wonderful man. Thanks for bringing him
into our life. Jo Anne Barnard.

Marge, please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with you, Jim and Bill during this difficult time. However, I choose to remember all those wonderful occasions we shared with Jim and you- dinners, plays and special events. I embrace the time spent as friend and neighbor. Jim's enthusiasm for life was infectious and made everyone around him a happier person. Even my grandson, Brad, was touched by his magic. He still thinks he can get rich by pulling quarters from his belly.

Jim was sadly missed at the 1950 East High reunions where he had always shared a table with buddies Mike Butch, Rocco Fumi, and me and our wives (who graciously put up with all our "buddy stories" of life as East Siders, stories probably repeated at every reunion." A life well deserved and a life well lived...we will miss you .
