Earl was such a remarkable man. He was full of kindness and love. I loved spending time with him. He always knew how to make me laugh. The kids loved it when he would take them for walks in the yard. He will be truly missed.

A real porch-person, who loved to serve up the coffee and iced tea...could never turn down a slice of Buttermilk pie from Sunset...made fun of me for being afraid of Tennessee bugs...always made you feel welcome in his home...lived a simple life, but was a great man...Dearly missed.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Ramsey's passing. I only know you from the Pavilion but from what I saw he was a precious little man. The day I helped take them outside was very special. Mrs. Ramsey was asked, by the dining room helper, if she wanted to stay and play Bingo .(She was seated at same table with my Mom for dinner)Mrs. Ramsey's reply was that she had to go check on her sick husband. At the same time their son was rolling Mr. Ramsey into the dining room. The dining room worked told Mrs. Ramsey to look around...when she saw Mr. Ramsey there was so much love in the look they gave each other that it was awesome. She reached over and patted him on the knee and he reached for her hand and the just smiled at each other. I have wanted to share this story with the family but did not get a chance until now. I have thought about that "moment in time" several times and just wanted the family to know about the love I saw between those two sweet people. I believe you were blessed with a very loving set of parents. May God bless you in this difficult time of transition.
