Rowland "Grandaddy" Sweigart was one of the most loving and devoted men I have ever known. The happiness having his granddaughter Tracy to call his own kept him going years and years after doctors thought he couldnt. Grandaddy's one prayer was that he would live long enough to see Tracy graduate college and get married, and in the last 2 yrs she has accomplished both.. I know Grandaddy will be watching over her from heaven, just as he did on earth. our thoughts and prayers are with you, and all those touched by the closing of this chapter in Grandaddy's life. while our flesh mourns that they are gone, let our spirts rejoice that they have returned home! Grandaddy- give Wayne and Fred a hug from all of us... God truly has some amazing men in heaven, waiting to one day reconnect with us all! Tracy- I send all my love and well wishes to you and yours. if you need anything at all, any time, any day, dont hesistate to call us. you have always been the closest thing i ever had to a real sister, and grandaddy the closest i had to a grandparent.. time, distance, and faded childhoods will never change the bond we have.. you will always be my family, and when you hurt, i hurt. i love you. we will see you this afternoon.

Roalnd was like a grand daddy to me as well...he helped me in so many ways for 30 years. In the end I took care of him hoping to repay for everything he had done for me and my daughter Desi-rae. He was a special and very different person that most will not never encounter in their lifetime!! He is already tremendously missed by myself and Ernesto...I have problems not knowing how to spend my day now and not running to him consistently when he needed me...lol...I will always cherish the memories and stories from PAPA...and the relationship we both cherished!!! GOD BLESS YOU PAPA (ROLAND) YOUR wishes and worries was granted!!! May you rest in peace and be blessed for eternity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
