Obituary of Roland S. Sweigart

Roland Sweigart, age 96, passed away on October 24, 2013. He was an aircraft navigator and shuttled airplanes while serving in the United States Army. Mr. Sweigart was a graduate of Vanderbilt University and worked as an accountant for the State of Tennessee. He had a great love for family and chocolate Frostys. The Memorial Service, conducted by Reverend Danny Sellars, is 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Sellars Funeral Home with one hour of visitation prior to the service. He is survived by son Ross Sweigart and grandchildren Tracy (Calieb) Conway and Desirae Sweigart. Mr. Sweigart is preceded in death by his wife Rebecca Sweigart, son Fred Sweigart, brother Robert Sweigart, and sister Alice Margaretta Hall.
