I had the pleasure of working/training Matt when he worked at Amazon and I will never forget that smile and the way he made us all laugh. He was a great guy and friend to many and I hope he knows how much he was loved and will be missed. I hope he is at peace now and can rest easy.

I first met Matt when I was a new fourth grade student at Sam Houston Elementary. I had a hard time at first with other boys in class making fun of a birth defect in my hand. I've never forgotten him trying to encourage me by saying "It's not a big deal. At least you don't have as many fingernails to clip." I spoke to him recently while he was working in a store and saw that same kind smile from so many years ago. I will always remember him as the first person to be nice to me at a new school.

I had the pleasure of training Matt at Pepsi. He was my merchandiser and friend. We often shared stories about how our faith in Jesus has changed our lives. I recently had A tumor and colon resection surgery and I know Matt was praying for my recovery. Matt was greatly respected in all of our accounts and will be greatly missed. Prayers of comfort and peace to all family and friends. God Bless. Tim Odom.

I recently lost my boy who I help raise from age four.
He passed away suddenly in Jan. 3 days after turning 36. This just is not suppose to happen. When Jeff saw me upon my return from Ga. Where my boy lived. He immediately Sat with me for several minutes providing comfort to me.
This hurts my heart so for Jeff truly reaches out to help others in the same way, even more so than how my dad did.
Several folks I've talked with shared that Matt was also like his dad, always willing and actually helping others.
That statement is the goal of this life and Matt full filled that.
Much love to the family and friends.
Lifting up prayers of comfort for all.
