Obituary of Shirley M. Lawrence

WILSON COUNTY LAWRENCE, Shirley, of Lebanon passed away November 2, 2009 at the age of 74. Preceded in death by husband, Howard Lawrence; mother, Mary Dickerson; sisters, Ruth Patterson and Thelma McClendon; brother, Alfred "Buddy" Abernathy; and great-grandson, Carson Tharp. Survived by sons, Donnie (Frances) Lawrence, Ronnie (Linda) Lawrence, and Timmy (Michelle) Lawrence; daughters, Debbie (Roger) McClendon, Carlene (Dennis) Adams and Rhonda Faye (Mark) Roberts; brother, Ray Vick; sister, Dorothy Kane; 16 grandchildren, Kendra, Gene, Matthew, Angela, Erica, Brian, Jason, Jesse, Shauna, Candace, Holly, Lucas, Dillon, Angel, Mike and Addie; 22 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Kaylin, Kloee, Skye, Evelyn, Haleigh, Riley, Wendy, Logan, Samantha, Lauren, Brady, Tiffany, Jennifer, Adam, Christopher, Westley, Tyler, Jesse, Shelby and Brooke. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 4th at 2pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Jim Minor and Bro. August Ruff officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Matthew Lawrence, Brian McClendon, Jason Lawrence, Gene Lawrence, Lucas Roberts, and Jesse Lawrence serving as pallbearers.
