Obituary of Kathryn Bowling Davenport

Kathryn Davenport passed away in Hartsville on October 5, 2011 at age 84. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon from 2-8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until the service on Saturday. The chapel service, conducted by Brother Buddy Neal, is 11 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011. Interment in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: Dr. Sara Martin, Deanna Hulse, and the staff at Hartsville Convalescent Center. Ms. Davenport was a graduate of Central High School, a member of Radnor Church of Christ, and had worked in the office of Hippodrome Oldsmobile. Survivors include daughters: Beverly (Russ) Ansley and Debbie (John) Woodroof; three sons: William (Norma) Combow Jr., Craig (Cheri) Combow, and Allen Combow; father of children; William White Combow Sr.; siblings: Iris Holt and Edward Bowling Jr.; grandchildren: Stephanie (Chris) Harman, Levi (Amber) Woodroof, Emiley (Brian) Friel, Matthew (Nicole) Tate, Paulina Combow, Porsche Combow, Colton Combow, and Cameron Combow; and great-grandchildren: Wade, Sophie, Wyatt, Myrrhyn, and Claire. She is preceded in death by parents Lola Mae and Henry Bowling.
