I have nothing but the "best ever" memories of Clara. We have had quite a few laughs over the years, and some tears. Most of the time tears of joy. Where would I begin to tell of the Jackson, Rice, and Sikes families. It would take a book. :) Thanks for being in my earthly journey and I pray for the family to continue being faithful to the Lord too. Love, Love and Hugs!

I have known Clara before she and James married. She has always been such a sweet spirited lady. I well remember days at the Old Hickory Church where she used to attend, and possibly met James there (not sure on that). If my memory serves me right, James (her deceased husband), father was pastor of the church at Old Hickory. Clara was always the same, such a beautiful lady inside and outside, she will be greatly missed. She has run her race, fought a good fight, finished her course and is with the Lord Jesus, no more pain. May the God of all comfort be near you now, and in the days ahead... My deep love and prayers, Juanita Weakley

Ms. Clara was a sweet lady and a sweet table companion to my sister at Emeritus. I came to know and love this sweet lady while visiting my sister, Jean Overton at Emeritus. She will be missed by all of us but am so glad she is now in a better place and out of pain. No more struggling to take that next breath. Praying for the family during this time of your loss.
