Obituary of Clara Mae Rice Sikes

SIKES, Clara Mae Rice, age 80 of Mt. Juliet passed away January 1, 2015. Preceded in death by husband of 54 years, James Sikes; daughter, Lisa Casas; parents, Roy and Willie Rice, Sr. and brother, Roy Rice, Jr. Survived by daughter, Trudie (Freddie) Weston, Jr.; brother, Oscar Dale (Naomi) Rice; grandchildren, Amber (Bobby O'Neal) Venable, Brooke (Jonathan) Hines and Ethan (Jessica) Weston; great-grandchildren, Weston James Hines and Pressley Merrill Hines. Funeral services will be held January 5th at 2pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro Wendell Moore officiating and Bro. Marion Caruthers assisting. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with her nephews, Jim Johnson, Michael Johnson, Terry Atkinson, Oscar Rice, Jr., Roy Rice and Jay Johnson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are: Staff and Residents at Emeritus/Brookdale Assisted Living.
