Obituary of Hilda Massey Robinson

ROBINSON, Hilda Massey, age 81 of Old Hickory, arrived in the arms of Jesus on March 22, 2011. She was born January 25, 1930 to the late, Lillard Ernest Massey and Effie Mai Massey. Also, preceded in death by husband, Claude Franklin Robinson; and brother, Harold Dean Massey. She is survived by daughters, Barbara (Jerry) Tate and Becky Mofield; grandchildren, Michelle Baskin, Rob Tate, and Brittany Mofield; great-granddaughter, Lea Tate; sisters, Reba (Horace) Tomlinson, Anna Appling, Ardelia Barnett, and Willie Mai "Bill" Vanderpool; brother, Robert (Juanita) Massey; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregiver, Tonia Michelle Williams and Alive Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26th at 1pm at Mt. Juliet Worship & Ministry Center with Rev. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Elbert Tomlinson, Jerry Tate, Rob Tate, Bobby Appling, Barry Appling, Mike Lawson and Dr. Wesley Appling serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet on Thursday, March 24th from 5-8 pm, Friday, March 25th from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm and on Saturday, March 26th one hour prior to the service at the church.
