Obituary of Ernest Lott Cameron

Ernest Cameron passed away at age 57. He is survived by wife of 10 years, Lori Lea Cameron; daughter: Jennifer Cameron (Bill) Pittman, PharmD.; grandson: William Claude Pittman III; mother: Elizabeth Lott Cameron; brother: Dr. Ralph Fridge (Janie) Cameron, Jr.; and sister: Rebecca Cameron (Jim) Collins. He is preceded in death by father Ralph Fridge Cameron Sr., RPh. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and was a proud member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He practiced at Methodist Hospital in Hattiesburg MS before starting a career with Eli Lilly & Company in 1985 where he was a long term loyal employee until his retirement. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ralph Fridge Cameron Sr. Memorial Scholarship Endowment in Pharmacy in honor of Ernest Lott Cameron (P.O. Box 249, University MS 38677). Memorial services will be Monday 6 p.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Jacob Armstrong officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
