I've only had the privilege of knowing Ewing over the past year, as I met him while playing a little music on Thursday nights at Case Transmission shop in Lafayette. Although I only knew him for a short while, it was easy to tell what a kind-hearted fellow that he was. I'm so sorry that I didn't realize Ewing had passed on in time, for I would have definitely come to his funeral; I had a lot of respect for him. May God bless and comfort the family and friends left behind.

The things I remember about Great Uncle Ewing is that he was a wonderful man of all things. I know he will be greatly missed by his 3 Brothers and his Sister (my Grandmother) also the entire family. Lots of prayer and love to you My Great Aunt Betty Jo.
